KONAD Stamping Nail Art

You might have heard of this revolutionary way of doing your nails, without spending a lot of money. The first time I saw this method was about 5 years ago, we were in the mall and one of the kiosks a girl was doing designs, I approached and my husband was already my boyfriend and he thought it was great for me since I was always doing my nails with different colors and designs (not flowers or anything) but lines of diff. colors. He bought me the LUXURY KIT and then I started getting more plates since you can buy them separately. Since then I love using it and lately I didn’t because I was using acrylics but after I take them off I regret it because my nails don’t grow fast, they are weak and chipped, anyways here I show you how I use it.

Valentines Nail Art – Stripes and Hearts

? I use acrylic paints because its waaaaay easier to draw with than nail polish. Not to mention if you do nails as much as I do it’s a lot cheaper.
? I always use nail polish as the base color and then do the art with paints.
? My favorite brand of paint is Americana and you can see them at the end of my videos.
? Why haven’t you done my request? I have loads of requests and I bought a book just to keep them all in. If I went in order the requests are behind by a few months lol. I don’t go in order anymore but I always look at the book when making new designs.
? I record with my JVC Everio camcorder and use Sony Vegas Pro to edit.
? How do you place your camera to record? I use a tripod and place it in front of me of a table. There is a picture of it on my facebook.

Black Tie Event Nail Art Design Tutorial

Hello You Guys!!!

Happy Friday ~

A while ago my husband & I were invited to a black tie event, & this is the nail design I used for this special occasion. I wore a black gown, a vintage silver bracelet, & a beautiful big half pearl ring my husband gave me for our anniversary. I wanted the nail design to have an art deco vintage feel, & this is what I came up with.

After the event for the rest of the week so it could have a less elegant feel I applied purple & pink crackle polish to the middle black polished area, alternating the colors in each nail & it dressed the design down for a more casual look.

When do water marble nail art, does it matter if you use scotch or masking tape?

I love the way the water marble nail art looks & I can’t wait to try it!! If you have any pictures of your water marbled nails, I would love to see them:)

Nope! People suggest scotch but I use masking tape it works just as well and isn’t as expensive:]
